White Horse Motel

The pool area was lovely and peaceful, with palm trees around it and a built-in waterfall. The rooms were very clean and had everything I needed. I could see how much the owners care about the property and their guests’ comfort. They were especially accommodating when my flights were canceled and my plans changed twice. Each time, they helped adjust my reservation, adding a night at the last minute and then refunding the night I no longer needed. I’ll stay here again when I’m in the area! ❤️

A spacious, spotless room with a little seating area, and a very welcoming owner/manager. This vintage roadside motel has been fully upgraded, pool included. The location is great too: a couple miles south of the main stretch along Lake Avenue, and only a few more minutes to the beach. A fantastic little find in Lake Worth. I’d highly recommend it.

The only hard part was having to leave. I have PTSD and fibromyalgia, so relaxing is usually difficult for me, but I actually fell asleep alone by the pool. I normally can’t sleep in an unfamiliar place out in the open. The little waterfall and all the birds were so calming. There are just nine rooms, and the pool is enclosed by trees and shrubs, which made it feel secluded from the city. It was incredibly quiet. I saw neighbors but never heard them, and couldn’t hear TVs, people talking, or even a toilet flushing in another room. No loud music, partying, or “townies.” I booked at the last minute and couldn’t be happier with the choice. The owners were friendly and accommodating, and the rooms exceptionally clean. I loved the fully tiled bathroom and the shiny tile in the main room. Sunday was just the best for me. I’ve never stayed somewhere that let me open the windows for fresh air, but I could here. Working while listening to the rain and rolling thunder was wonderful. There are so many thoughtful touches, from the tiled outdoor area to the little fan and lightbulb charms on the ceiling fan. I can’t wait to come back and book the big room next time!!!

I needed somewhere for one night and didn’t have much time to choose, so I took a chance on the White Horse. Motels can be unpredictable, but this one was a pleasant surprise: immaculate inside and cleaner and nicer than many hotels I’ve stayed in. The small room had tile floors, new climate control, a big TV, and all the amenities. I also met the owner, who was genuinely nice. If you’re looking for a clean room at a fair price, this is the place. I’m glad I found it!
