Hampton Inn Lakeville Minneapolis

There’s an indoor pool and a gym with free weights, TRX, and a few cardio machines, and the rooms and amenities are well maintained. The continental breakfast is available, though the oatmeal is the make-it-yourself kind from a packet. Staff were friendly and quick to respond when I reported a maintenance issue. The rooms were good. I’m not a fan of the sliding barn door that serves either the bathroom or the closet.

We needed a room at the last minute and hadn’t reserved ahead, so this place was a lifesaver. The room was lovely, and the bed was so comfortable that we got a restful night on the final leg of our trip.

We’ve stayed at Hampton Lakeville dozens of times, and Robert, Remy, and the rest of the team keep making the experience great. The location is handy, with restaurants, a grocery store, a movie theater, and a convenience store all within walking distance. I work remotely, and the high-speed internet has been very dependable during stays of several days. There’s printer access, too. Breakfast is great, the rooms are clean and well appointed, and the beds are comfortable. The pool area is clean as well, which other hotels often let slide. The whole place is well managed, from food service and maintenance to housekeeping and the front desk. We travel often and stay at Hampton and Hilton properties a lot, and this one is top notch.

Robert’s genuine hospitality made the stay for me. His positive energy and the way he treats people lifted the mood for everyone paying attention. I first noticed him Saturday morning, was glad he was working the rest of that day, and saw him again Sunday morning. I’d have thanked him in person, but didn’t see him when we left. I don’t know his job title, but he’s an asset and deserves recognition. His kindness made me less concerned about a few other things that could have been better and might otherwise have made me choose another hotel. We stayed two nights, Friday and Saturday, 8-8 and 8-9-25, our first visit. It was otherwise an ordinary mid-grade hotel stay, the kind I wouldn’t usually take time to review. I’ll come back and hope Robert is still running the front of the house.
