Two staff members were kind, but seemed embarrassed by how rude the manager was. My toddler got food poisoning during the trip, and I did what I could to keep the room clean. There’s only so much you can manage with a toddler. The manager wouldn’t give us a fresh blanket, said we’d already had plenty of towels, and told us to buy a blanket at Walmart. We waited until her shift ended, and the nice staff member got us one. The mirror sign says to ask before 11 AM if you want the room cleaned during your stay. I asked, since I don’t travel with cleaning supplies, and they refused. EDIT: The reply said the room couldn’t be cleaned immediately. I told staff about the situation at 6 AM and didn’t return until 6 PM. Twelve hours isn’t an immediate demand. The manager also tried to start a shouting match in the lobby. My husband ignored her and went about his day. That wasn’t a simple miscommunication. Only one sheet was soiled. After that, I had my baby sleep on the floor on cheap, worn towels. I just wanted the bedding changed for cleanliness. A basic mop and vacuum would’ve helped us a lot.

The room was huge and clean, but that’s the only good thing I can say. The bed was rock hard, and those tiny square pillows let your head fall off during the night. The tub didn’t drain when I showered, which was gross. At breakfast, they were out of fresh coffee, and the attendant was just standing there doing nothing. A spacious, clean room doesn’t make up for those problems. I’ll never stay here again.

The rooms are a bit dated, but still comfortable. There are plenty of places to eat and shop nearby, and the location is great. What makes this place special, though, is the staff. They were kind, friendly, and happy to answer questions.

Ferry at reception was extremely kind and helpful, and made the stay as easy as possible. My room was clean and comfortable, and the location was very convenient for the hospital I drove to each day.

We come back to this hotel whenever we travel to the metro area. Ferry at the front desk always recognizes us by name and welcomes us back. We’re here often enough that I think we deserve our own parking space. Thank you!
