Hampton Inn Denver West Federal Center

Kendall made this the best customer service I've had at a Hilton in six years of staying with the brand. I had a wonderful visit this week. Big shout-out to him. Keep it up, Kendall, and ask for him next time you come in!

We still haven't received the deposits, and the staff haven't helped resolve it. My grandmother and I stayed at Hampton Inn West Federal at Denver from November 21 to 29, 2025, because she had surgery nearby. I booked two rooms and paid the required deposits: $240 for the room for one night, and my grandmother paid $722 for the room we'd use for nearly a week. Everything seemed fine until checkout, when we asked about getting the deposits back. They said it would take a few days, which I accepted. When we returned to the hotel for another appointment for my grandmother, I asked about the money and was told it had already been returned. I called my bank right then, and they couldn't find any transaction from the hotel. I asked for a refund, but the front desk man didn't seem concerned. He gave me numbers to call the managers. I rang them a few minutes later and got no answer, then tried again the next day. The front desk staff were rude and dodged the issue, saying they couldn't do anything. They even claimed I wasn't in the system, despite my account number and photos of the stay and payments. I showed them that my bank had received nothing. I'm very disappointed by how unwilling they were to help, and I still haven't received anything. The numbers the front desk gave me went unanswered, so I had to call the desk directly. I have pictures of both payments, one made by my grandmother and one by me. In the search results, only the payments appear, not the deposits they say they sent.

The hot breakfast was genuinely good, and everyone I encountered seemed friendly, though I didn't speak with staff much. The rooms are nice and look like they may have been renovated fairly recently. The bathroom fan works, and the water gets hot quickly.

Kendall had a ton of personality and was a big help during our week and a half here. Whenever something came up, he took care of it. I really appreciated that and had a good stay.
