SpringHill Suites by Marriott Denver West/Golden

I almost want to give this place one star just to keep it a secret, but wow, it was great. Tammy made our birthday weekend memorable, and we were upgraded to a beautiful mountain view. The rooms were spotless, and unlike most hotels I’ve stayed in, I couldn’t hear the neighbors through the walls. Breakfast was good, the gym is brand new with more equipment than many hotels have, and there was plenty of parking. I felt safe around the property and in the lot at night. Shops are just across the highway, and I-70 made it easy to drive to Red Rocks, Golden, and downtown. I’ll absolutely be back.

Nick at the front desk should teach customer service to all Marriotts. Every staff member I spoke with was excellent. The rooms were clean, quiet, and comfortable, with soft towels and bedding, and the TV had all the streaming services. There’s a Target nearby for snacks and plenty of restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was great too. Lovely hotel in a great spot, and I’ll be back.

I really enjoyed having a quiet moment with coffee and one of my own books in the room. It was a cozy place to relax, reflect, and get a bit of creative inspiration. The suite was spacious and laid out well, and the bed was very comfortable after a day out exploring. Everything felt clean and well maintained, and the whole hotel had a relaxed, welcoming feel. It’s also convenient for Golden and trips into the mountains. The elevator was a little out of whack, but the staff made sure guests were safe and weren’t inconvenienced. I had a fantastic stay at the SpringHill Suites by Marriott Denver West / Golden and would choose it again.

I spent seven days here and would happily come back. It’s a lovely, brand-new, very clean property, with spacious rooms, a nice standing shower, and excellent amenities. The front desk agents were friendly and helpful, and the location by Colorado Mills is handy for shops and highway access. My only suggestion would be a little more variety at breakfast.
