We came for a sandhill crane hunt, and the owner let us check out late after our morning hunt ran behind. The staff were friendly and accommodating, and the room had some newer furniture. The beds were clean and comfortable. I'd stay again next year. It's a good value if luxury isn't what you're after. Remember to ask about all your discounts when you check in.

My single room was roomy, recently remodeled, and had a tiled walk-in shower. The bed was really comfortable, too. The owners were lovely with my two service dogs, giving them treats and playing with them outside after I gave permission. They shared good local recommendations and even offered laundry service, which helped while I was working. Breakfast had recently opened and the quality grab-and-go food made mornings easier. I could also fill my cooler at the industrial ice machine. Prices were very affordable, and being about halfway between Lubbock and Midland gave me plenty of options for shopping and things to do. I'll stay here whenever I'm in the area. Nothing negative to say.
