You get a cheap room, but the furniture was damaged and the fixtures were rusty. As I was about to check out, I worried they might charge me for something I'd walked into, so thank goodness I recorded the room soon after arriving. Posting photos as an example.

I come here each year for downtown conventions and save hundreds compared with places like the Marriott. It's an easy ten-minute drive into downtown, and I get what I need: a bed, a shower, and somewhere to keep my stuff. Staff have been friendly, I've always found a parking spot, and I've never had a problem. There's a fridge and microwave in the room, which helps me spend less on restaurants. This isn't a Ritz or Four Seasons, and I rate it five stars because it delivers on value, not luxury. With the right expectations, I recommend Americas Best Value Inn.

The rooms aren't especially dirty, but the owners are exhausting and intrusive. While my kids were asleep, the owner tried to come into my room to check whether we'd cooked. I was stunned by the audacity and can't explain how uncomfortable it made me. I wouldn't let my kids stay there again. Save your time, money, and sanity.

We needed somewhere safe, quiet, and clean while our son played hoops at spooky nook, and this fit the bill. The staff were really friendly, and our room was very clean, comfortable, and peaceful. We'll definitely return when we're back in the area.
