Hampton Inn Lancaster

Our families were impressed by the spacious rooms, cleanliness, convenient location, and the great service at the Hampton Inn Lancaster. Our team was in town to compete at Spooky Nook, and the hotel went beyond what we expected. Wesley, the Sales Coordinator, guided our group through every step and made the arrangements seamless. They also tracked down an item one of our group had left behind and returned it incredibly quickly. As a former event planner, I don't say this lightly: the staff did an outstanding job. We'll definitely come back for future events.

Breakfast was good, but for the room price I expected a nicer setup. The rooms feel smaller than average, with a bathroom counter barely big enough for everyday things, let alone clothes. The shower is so narrow my arms touched both sides.

There were 14 of us staying for three days for our son's wedding, and our family, friends, and relatives are all deeply upset. My mother badly cut her leg getting into bed on an exposed metal mattress support that stuck out about three inches past the mattress in two spots. It was screwed in place, so we couldn't move it. Two weeks later the injury was still two inches across, and she expects to have a terrible scar. Housekeeping should have seen the frame while changing the sheets. This negligence should never have happened. I emailed management on 10/30/25 after our stay the previous weekend and still haven't had a reply. The silence is demoralizing and has only made us angrier. At this point, we're contacting our lawyer.

The cancellation terms are ridiculous, and the staff wouldn't make any allowance for an emergency. To get a refund, you have to cancel three weeks ahead. If you book here, be prepared to pay extra for the option to cancel. Hilton customer service were great and disagreed with the branch's rigidity and rudeness. They tried to move the reservation to another night, but the Lancaster location wouldn't budge. They also refused to change the name unless I paid the full room cost to change the name or move the night. I've never dealt with an owner this focused on money.
