Motel 6 Lantana, FL

I spent a three-day weekend here. The room smelled a bit odd, towels were hard to get, and there were people coming and going a lot. Still, the good points outweighed those issues. The AC was cold, showers stayed hot, the cable TV was big, and the beds were comfortable. The place was well lit, the employees and housekeepers were very nice, and there was a washer, dryer, and ice machine. Publix, McDonald’s, Wawa, and a dollar store were all within walking distance. For a night or two while traveling, it’s just fine.

There were plenty of rooms with cats and dogs, so keep that in mind if you have allergies. The area felt a little seedy, with lots of people walking through, but we were on the second floor and felt safe, and our vehicle did too. The price was good for the area, the bed was great, and we liked having a mini fridge and microwave. McDonald’s in the lot was handy. We were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the room was. It smelled clean, and all the TV channels worked. I’d stay here again if we were in the area.

We ended up stuck in West Palm after missing our cruise because of a birth certificate, and my group stayed here for five nights. The rooms were clean, and I didn’t see a single bug all week. Nikki made the stay exceptional. We were very needy, but she found a way to accommodate us every time. I can’t thank her and her staff enough. I’ve already rebooked the cruise, so I’ll be back. If I could give a million stars, I would. Thanks again to Nikki and her staff!

The property manager walks around checking that the rooms and grounds are immaculate, and the staff make you feel comfortable. Art is amazing and makes check-in really smooth. Motel 6, keep up the good work.
