I came back to this review a year later. I stayed in February '20 while the hotel was being renovated, so my earlier complaint about construction noise and no COVID breakfast may have been unfair since the work was probably finished by then. It was mostly quiet at night, though the rooms open to the outside, so you can hear people walking around. DoorDash is much easier because there isn't much within walking distance, and the highway is the only walking route, which felt unsafe.

Why would Motel 6 let me reserve a room in a condemned building?

Check your bank account after you leave. A week after checkout, the motel charged my card for one extra night. I called and got that refunded, but the next day I saw two more nights charged, on top of the two nights I had actually stayed. When I called again, the woman got mad and said she'd already refunded one night. My bank confirmed the charge for my two actual nights plus two extra ones, so we filed a claim right away. I can't recommend this hotel. Be careful.

The room was nicer than I expected, clean and well kept, with newer things in it. It wasn't a Hilton room, lol, but the extended stay price was VERY fair. I'll come back next time work brings me to the area.
