The room was in awful shape, and there wasn't even a smoke detector, which is illegal. The hotel was in the middle of major maintenance, so the pool, breakfast, and Wi-Fi weren't available. We asked for our money back because of the condition of the room, but they refused. Be careful, we got scammed. For your own safety, NEVER book here.

I had to use the blanket and pillow from my truck because the bedding here was so dirty. The hotel is extremely old and filthy, and staying here was a huge mistake. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

I booked this place online for a driver laid over in Laredo Texas January 9-10 of 2026, mainly because it had plenty of truck parking. I hadn't checked the reviews first. The driver said they were remodeling: new beds, floors, showers, and toilets, but the linens were old. He got bed bugs from those linens, and the picture is proof.

The bathroom was super dirty, and the service wasn't good either. There were yellow stains on my sheets, a cockroach in the room, and the roof was peeling off. This was my first time at Americans best value hotel, and there's nothing best about it. I'm never coming back!

I want my money back ASAP. In one room, the key wouldn't work. The next had a broken toilet, and when we lifted the tank lid, there was a crack pipe in the reservoir. In the third, we found squashed bed bugs on the supposedly clean sheets and roaches in the bathroom. The TV looked like a cracked phone screen when it was on. I'm appalled and disgusted. This place honestly needs to be shut down. You wouldn't believe it even if you saw it.
