A Fisher's Inn Motel

After nearly 12 hours on the road, I stopped to ask about room prices. The man at the desk quoted $161. I said that was beyond my budget and that I’d look elsewhere, then gave him the range I was hoping for when he asked. He replied, “Well no where is going to let you stay for free.” I hadn’t asked to stay for free, so I explained that I only meant his rate was too high for me and left. Looking at the reviews and photos afterward, I’m glad I drove on to Boulder City. The front desk man needs a serious lesson in customer service and some compassion.

The room was clean enough, and the staff were friendly, but it was dim and there were no extra blankets or pillows, or even a blow dryer. We paid more than the room felt worth. Other places cost a lot more, so for a couple of nights it was good enough, I guess, but I can’t recommend it.

The location was okay, but the management was rude and nasty, and the rooms were filthy and overpriced. We found a used contraceptive wrapped up next to the bed, so the room clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly before we arrived. It also had a sickening, funky smell. This is the worst motel I’ve ever stayed in, and these people don’t deserve your money.

My colleague picked this place because he hates casinos, and regretted it right away. It was expensive, hard to find between used car dealerships, and dirty, dingy, and smelly. The room smelled like smoke and mildew, and the carpets were filthy. The washers and dryers were outside, too. The clerk even insisted my colleague pay a fee just because I was dropping him off. After looking at the room, my colleague refused to stay and spent the weekend at my home. It looks like the owner puts no money back into the motel. Just don't.
