Rochelle at Hawthorn Grill was the one bright spot this time. She was warm, attentive, and professional, and gave us the level of service we'd expected throughout the hotel. We chose JW Marriott Las Vegas for a Valentine's week family celebration, a 50th anniversary and birthday with my fiancée's aunt and uncle. We'd stayed in August for my fiancée's birthday and had an exceptional visit, so we felt confident bringing everyone back. This time was the opposite. Travel delays meant we arrived late, and although check-in staff said the rooms and our Platinum benefits were all set, we weren't offered available upgrades or given our food vouchers. Several things promised for the rooms were missing. There was no welcome amenity for her aunt and uncle, a requested accessibility item hadn't arrived, and the champagne and chocolate meant to make up for the missed welcome went to the wrong room. With the delay and the importance of the occasion, we had to go back to the front desk to sort it out. Guests shouldn't have to do that during a milestone celebration. The bigger letdown was the lack of ownership afterward. Management asked how they could make things right, but there was no meaningful solution and no further communication. As frequent travelers and Platinum members who choose Marriott properties around the world, we know small oversights happen. The way they're handled is what matters for a luxury brand, and this didn't meet the JW Marriott standard we expected after such a strong visit just months earlier. We brought our family back because of that August stay. It's deeply disappointing that the hotel fell short during a once-in-a-lifetime celebration. I hope leadership takes a careful look. Loyalty depends on consistency and accountability.

We’re already planning another visit. The resort grounds, including the pool and waterfall, were relaxing and well cared for, and Charisma at the pool was friendly and attentive. Wineaux was a nice surprise, with tasty bites, refined cocktails, and great service from Mark. Hawthorne’s happy hour is a must. There’s lots to explore in the very nice Rampart area.

Lisa and Brittany Nicole at the front desk made me feel genuinely welcome and valued. Brittany Nicole was especially helpful when I needed a charger. She provided one right away and turned a possible hassle into an easy moment, all with a kind, professional attitude. Lisa was just as warm and attentive. I want to thank the team for a wonderful stay. Their hospitality and professionalism stood out from the start, and it's clear both take pride in making guests feel cared for. Please pass along my gratitude to them. Their service made the visit memorable, and I look forward to returning.

Dinner at the Italian restaurant didn't go well. It wasn't busy, but our food took 30 minutes, and the bartender said he'd forgotten to enter the order. The spa visit was pleasant apart from the gym attendant rushing out. The gym is advertised as open until 8 p.m., but he told me we needed to leave by 7:45 because they use the last 15 minutes to clean. I'd come hoping to work out before the posted closing time. We picked this off-Strip location as a stop on a long road trip. As EV owners, we usually choose places advertising charging so we can avoid spending a few extra hours charging elsewhere, but the casino's chargers were pay-only and most were out of service. The intentions seemed good, but staff training and the infrastructure didn't support the JW brand, in my opinion.

The rooms are huge, dark, cool, and comfortable, and there's a jacuzzi tub in every room. I loved the relaxing spa, with a naked option, plus the cold plunge, sauna, and steam room. This is the best hotel I've stayed in, and I travel quite often. Highly recommend it.
