We stayed at The Cromwell in June '25 and are planning to return in June '26. My husband and I go to Vegas every June to celebrate, and we’ve tried most Strip hotels. The best part here is how small it is. At the bigger properties, the long walk from your room to the casino or exit gets old. At The Cromwell, the elevators and main Strip are both easy to reach after a short walk. Our larger suite was fabulously decorated, with retro furniture, a vintage slot machine, two bathrooms, a full-size fridge, and a shower with a steamer option. That steamer was amazing for my skin, which gets dry in Vegas weather. The view wasn’t much to write home about, but I’ll take easy access over a grand view any day. Highly recommend giving this hotel a try.

We keep coming back to The Cromwell, six stays so far, because of the service. Hector is a gem, always helpful and nice. Angelina is the best bartender. She remembered us when we returned the second time and still remembers us each visit. We love playing poker at the bar and chatting with her and the other guys there. We’re excited about the upcoming changes. I just hope the cozy, welcoming feel stays. We feel like family here.

The room I was moved to had an LED strip sign shining into it all day and night. The blackout curtains didn’t close fully, and noise from street performers and bars was unreal. The $20 room credit for the move felt insulting, and changing rooms was a huge inconvenience. That move happened after the first room developed a sewer smell. I repeatedly found visible black debris around the sink, which had no drain cover. Maintenance came in for less than a minute, rinsed the sink, and left without actually fixing anything. On our last day, my friend in the room next to my original one woke to water leaking from the ceiling into the lights above her head. She was told it came from the pool. The leak also reached the hallway, where they put a bucket under it. The leaking ceilings, sewer smell, and water issues raise serious concerns about mold and maintenance. The front desk staff showed no empathy, urgency, or real effort beyond that token credit. We expected a boutique Vegas experience and got noise, leaks, and indifference. This property needs serious maintenance and management attention. I’d never stay here again, and we’re asking our corporate team to remove it from our preferred list.

The staff were fantastic and helpful. They understood how frustrating it was that higher-ups advertised things the hotel couldn’t provide. The rest of the stay was a letdown. My room was tiny and dark, and the coffee maker had no coffee. I felt misled and was so bummed because I’d been looking forward to the trip. I hate this place. Cosmopolitan was the complete opposite, and I wish we’d stayed there. On day two, I tried to order dinner and found there was no room service, even though it was advertised. That’s a huge deal breaker for me, and I wouldn’t have booked if I’d known. You have to get dressed, go outside, and find a restaurant in another building. On day three, after spending ages trying to connect the TV to my streaming apps and following the hotel’s instructions over and over, I asked for help. They said casting wasn’t possible, even though the TV said it was available. Another fake amenity. You’re stuck with regular TV reruns and commercials, or you can pay the hotel $10 for a movie. Nickel and diming, and lying about major things like room service, coffee, and a smart TV.

I didn’t stay at The Cromwell on my recent visit, just spent the weekend playing in the casino, but it’s easily my favorite place to gamble on the Strip. Being part of Caesars Rewards is a big bonus. The whole casino feels classy and intimate compared with its neighbors, whether you’re at video poker or table games. Angelina at the video poker bar deserves a shout-out. We’ve seen her on the last few trips, and she’s fantastic, super friendly and full of energy. She absolutely loves Canadians, too, and makes one of the best Caesars you’ll find in Vegas. For a stylish, comfortable, enjoyable place to play, The Cromwell is hard to beat.
