Sterling Gardens Hotel

Sterling Garden was a nice place to stay. The front desk woman was really kind and helpful, and gave me good tips for things to do in the city. The room was clean and the location was handy, with Freemont within walking distance. It’s noisy, but the whole city is. I recommend it.

For an affordable place, it’s decent. The rooms are very small, the neighborhood is rough, and a lot of the neighbors are odd. Still, the people who live there are respectful, management stays on top of things, and you can walk to everything you need. It’s close to downtown nightlife but far enough away that you don’t hear the noise.

Nikkia and CC at the front desk are awesome, and all the staff are so friendly. I love how dog-friendly the place is. The brick-wall rooms are cute and help muffle noise from neighbors. It’s easy to get to the strip, and there’s an outdoor area with benches, a little gazebo, and old-school music playing all the time. A great pick for weekly stays in Vegas!

This place was awful. The bathroom and bed were dirty, the doors and locks were broken, and the manager was terrible. He hung up on someone who’d lost money because he hadn’t made sure the rooms were clean and safe. We checked in, saw the room, and left the same day, fast. Save your money. They won’t refund you or help you at all.
