For $80 a night, it wasn't a terrible room if you don't mind the issues, but I'm not coming back. Our door was broken, and the one next door had a dent as if someone had tried to break in. When we asked to switch rooms, they offered a double instead of the queen we'd reserved. It was too small for my 6'6 boyfriend, which is why we book a queen or king. Management was strange about a refund or upgrade, and it took over 30 minutes to leave because he had to call his boss. We did eventually get a refund, though they tried hard not to give one.

The room seemed clean, though I didn't inspect it closely, and the staff were nice. Check-in was easy. For the price, it's not bad if all you need is a bed and a shower. There was a strange smell, but it wasn't unpleasant.

Our stay on March 1 was okay aside from a frustrating issue with the desk lamp. The room had no ceiling light, so the lamps were the only lighting, and the desk lamp wasn't working when we arrived. I reported it right away and was told it would be fixed, but nothing happened. We reminded the staff several times, and it still hadn't been repaired or replaced by checkout. At night, we had to move around in the dark with the bedside lights off so we wouldn't disturb anyone. I nearly fell once. It's disappointing that such a simple problem was ignored after multiple requests. Management should respond better and consider compensation.

The first room had sheets with a large urine stain and blood stains, and the whole room smelled like pee. There was no shower curtain either. After I called the front desk, a man came to confirm the problem, then moved us to another dump with dirty sheets too. We left right away. I was in Albany visiting and booked here, but I'll never return. It's disgusting. Save your money and stay somewhere else.
