Best Florida Resort Hotel

We were able to get in early when our plans changed, and they also provided bath linens when we asked, along with beach towels. The room was spacious, though the Air b and b photos look much nicer than what we found. There’s no ocean view from the rooms, but public beach access is a very short walk away. The view from the second-floor balcony is nice.

The room we were given, 206, had two single beds even though I’d booked a double through Booking .com. When I asked about it, nobody resolved the issue. The unit needed major care: black moldings and grout, stained flooring, bent and broken blinds, and an AC unit tucked into a walk-in closet that barely cooled the living area. We couldn’t stay there. The pool bottom looked green, too. We moved across the street to a clean hotel where everything worked, for the same price we’d paid at Best Florida Resort.

The room was filthy and felt unsafe. There was what looked like a blood stain on the bedding, dirt on the walls, stains on the other bed, scratched furniture, and a mattress wrapped in what looked like painter’s plastic. No one was there to check us in, so after reaching someone we were given a code, 2345, but no key. The chain lock was missing its other half, leaving the code as the only way to secure the door. When we asked for a key, the manager hung up. We documented the condition and contacted her. She insisted the room was clean because she’d been there that day, but refused to address it. She’s now refusing a refund or further communication about an accommodation that was unsanitary and unsafe. Avoid this place.

The room was filthy, with stains and hair all over the bed linens. There wasn’t anyone in the office on Saturday. This place is a dump.
