Villa Caprice

We lost $170 because the owner never refunded the night we didn't stay, despite telling us we would get that money back. I've called to speak with her, but was told she wasn't there. We planned a two-day stay in February 2013, and left after one night because the room, which they said had just been remodeled, wasn't up to standard and needed more work. The old dorm fridge was moldy, the bathroom hadn't been remodeled, the toilet ran constantly, and the shower was almost impossible to turn on. The owner said they had just bought the place and were still working on it, but reviews make it look like they'd owned it for a while. There was no coffee or ice. When I asked at the office about coffee, the owner rudely said no; the cleaning crew also had no ice. This didn't meet any idea of a villa standard. The professional photos look photoshopped. Don't stay here.
