Winzig Lodge

The owners really care. When I checked out, they kindly asked whether I needed help, just as the owner's daughter had offered to carry my bag upstairs earlier. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable, and parking was ideal, close to everything. It's a lovely little place and I can't say enough about the stay. I'm already planning a return, and I tell my friends to stay here too.

I asked the owner to decorate the room for my significant other's birthday, and the effort they put in exceeded my expectations. The owner was very responsive and helpful. The room was super clean, with no signs of mold, and the kitchenette had just about everything needed for a short trip. It's about a 13 minute walk to the hot springs. This place is phenomenal, and I'd definitely stay here again if I came back to Lava.

Our room was comfortable and nicely appointed, with an Ikea feel. There were chairs out front and a seating area with a grill on the back balcony. The lodge is cute and near the top of Main Street. We walked down to Main for everything, which was convenient, while the lodge was still far enough away to stay quiet, at least in April. The shower took a REALLY long time to get hot, but once it did, the water was nice.

We stayed in #6, and it's adorable. The place is super cute, very clean, perfectly located, nicely decorated, and well stocked. I loved the cozy fireplace and thought the price was amazing for what you get. There was a little dust on the ceiling fans and the mats under the dishes. The floors seemed clean, but my feet got dirty, and I'm not sure the hardwood had been mopped. Since it's like a private apartment, a broom would be useful. Even with those issues, I'll definitely stay again. I wish I'd taken photos, but I only got video. The owner is so cool!
