Check-in and checkout went smoothly, and coffee and hot chocolate were available in the lobby after 7:00am. There's no restaurant or breakfast room. For a budget hotel that costs almost half as much as most, the stay was okay, but a few inexpensive improvements could help. They should scrub the floor corners and maybe add bedside rugs. The vinyl floors looked damp mopped between guests, but debris had collected in the corners, especially by the bathroom and tub. The rest of the room was clean. We kept house shoes handy so we wouldn't carry the grime to the bed. The room was spacious and matched the pictures. The bed was clean, comfortable, and had bedding that looked and felt new. There was a refrigerator, two burner cooktop, and microwave, but no dishes, flatware, or cooking utensils. We only stayed one night and didn't use the kitchen. I assume a set of dishes and cookware could be requested at the office. The decor had troweled-on "travertine" walls, stippled ceilings, and no carpet. One odd feature was the bathroom without a sink. The sink was placed at a right angle to the entrance door, so unless you're alone or your travel partner is in the room, you have to listen for the door unlocking and jump out of its way before it swings into you. This was room 234 on September 5, 2025.

I've never stayed in a worse hotel, and my husband and I travel a lot, including to some awful motels in the middle of nowhere. We were on the third floor, so maybe other parts of the hotel are different. Bugs were crawling on the floor when we entered, and black grime covered the ground. Walk around in socks and they'll turn black and stick to the floor. The smell was horrendous, like raw fish and seafood. It seemed as if the room hadn't been cleaned for years. Giant beetles crawled above us while we slept, and there was mold underneath the beds. It's hard to believe they charge more than $50 for a place like this.

We slept in a sleeping bag on top of the bed because we didn't want to use the bedding, and the room was so dirty I couldn't walk barefoot. It smelled bad as well. This was the most disgusting motel I've stayed in. I wonder what the Maryland Department of Health would make of it. I told them I'd post the photos unless they discounted my stay. I haven't heard anything, so here they are.

The room was spacious and clean, and there were lots of stores nearby. I had a good stay, but if you can, avoid the 3rd FL. We heard a lot of noise from above us.
