Sue and Jack made great hosts: fun, friendly, knowledgeable, and engaging. The house is delightfully attended, and the breakfasts were superb. The French toast was great, and the hash browns won my wife over. After a full day of sightseeing, the cookies and muffins were a nice way to end the evening. We stayed two nights, but this B&B could easily work as a base for a longer Black Hills visit.

Sue met us at the door, and she and Jack were amazing hosts who made our Black Hills stay even more fun. They’ve thought of everything you might need, and they’re happy to answer questions about the area. Coffee is set out by your room beforehand, and we loved breakfast every morning. Absolutely the best place to stay. Book your stay now!

We booked a last-minute getaway and found the hosts super nice. The room was spacious and clean, with a private bathroom, which I loved since many B&Bs don’t have one. The bedding was comfortable, it was quiet, and breakfast was great. I’d highly recommend it. We’ll be back!

We stayed three days in the historical home and loved meeting Sue and Jack. The Wisteria Room was beautifully decorated, with a very comfortable bed and a terrific view of the backyard. Each morning, colorful wildflowers and several deer wandered through. Coffee was waiting in the adjoining hallway when we got up, and the abundant, delicious breakfasts gave us energy for hiking the Black Hills trails. We also made use of the excellent Wi-Fi throughout the house, relaxed in the well-stocked library, and lounged in the wood-paneled common living room. This was our first B&B, and it may have spoiled us for others. We’re so glad we chose it and would definitely do it again when we’re in the area.

The beds were super comfortable, and Jack makes a great breakfast. The hosts are very friendly, and there’s a great view of town. It’s a little out of the way, so nights are serene and quiet, even during the hustle and bustle of the Sturgis motorcycle rally. There’s a SmartTV and a reading room for when you’re tired and want to stay in. I really have nothing bad to say about this place.
