Terry Peak Chalets

Rob was easy to deal with and friendly, and the whole stay went better than we could have hoped. We stayed at the chalets at the end of September, a beautiful time to see the Black Hills. The place was clean, roomy, and welcoming, with everything we could think of already furnished. It really felt like home. A family of deer even came by to visit each evening. My husband and I had an amazing time.

There was plenty to do with my daughter, and the location was great. We came all the way from NC and were completely taken with how beautiful Terry Peak Chalets was. The cleanliness, hospitality, accommodations, and customer service all went beyond what I expected. Even though we were far from home, we felt at home there. It was a dream vacation and a once-in-a-lifetime experience for us. I'd absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting western SD.

There were 11 of us, and the chalet had plenty of room for everyone. It was comfortably and beautifully decorated, too. We planned our meals and brought the food, and cooking was easy since the kitchen had all the tools we needed. We even packed things we didn't end up using. I wish I'd taken photos of the lovely interior, but I did get a few of the views. We had an amazing stay at Terry Peak Chalets, and I can't recommend it enough.

The area is gorgeous, the location is great, and the chalets themselves look beautiful. We spent a couple of days in a condo and then a couple in a chalet, and both were pretty dirty. The condo had an old soap bar in the tub, a dirty floor, and blood on my pillowcase. In the chalet, dead moths were everywhere, and there were lots of crumbs and crackers in the couch, so using the pullout wasn't an option. There was also a toy box under the bed, and the rough-cut lumber in the bathroom was dusty and generally dirty. None of it was a huge deal by itself, but finding old soap or a toy box makes it seem like the places hadn't been cleaned between guests.
