The Historic Leakey Inn

The staff were really friendly, and I had a great stay. The room was clean and comfortable. There's a restaurant and bar patio that seems like a fun place to hang out and socialize. On Friday night they had a live band.

Inn 5 was the end room, a darling place with a clean, comfortable king bed and a hot shower. We had dinner at the Back Porch onsite, which was amazing, and music bingo was fun even though we lost. The hosts and staff were gracious and friendly. It had that small-town feeling where everyone seems to know everyone, which is nice on vacation. The pool was peaceful and refreshing, and Garner is super close. We'll definitely return!

I've stayed at this hotel several times over the last 7 years, and until now I could always reach someone or get a return call when I left a message to reserve a room. This time I called 8 times over 6 days and left several messages. Dallas answered my first call while she was out and said she'd call as soon as she got back, but she didn't. After my seventh call and another message, she rang back and said they'd been on vacation and things were hectic. She said she'd ask her son to check availability and get back to me. That was Friday afternoon, and after giving them the weekend, I tried Monday morning, got voicemail again, and left another message. By the end of the day, still nothing. I know it's a small family business, and I hated leaving a bad review, but keep treating customers this way and you won't have any. Don't worry, I won't bother you again. Update 10/13. You lie, just like I think you have in most of your other replies. I had your numbers saved, but there were no missed calls from Leakey and no voicemail, unlike the four or five messages I'd left. The issue with your supposedly easy online booking is that every room shows a two-night minimum all the time. Dallas already knew that when I spoke to her. She mentioned it before I did, and that's why I called, as I have in the past. DO NOT STAY HERE. Who knows what you'll get at this run-down excuse for a business? Take your money and stay 20 minutes west at the Cowboy Motel in Camp Wood. They'll treat you with respect, have easy online booking for single or multiple nights, and respond to voicemails and texts. It's a nicer motel with better accommodations. I'll never recommend this place again, and I'll make sure every biker I know stays away. Worthless.

The cabin was clean and had a lovely atmosphere inside and out, and the location was great. I was sorry I missed the restaurant and shop. The outdoor pool and chairs were perfect. What an awesome place!
