Hotel Pension Anna

Everyone who works here is lovely. Donna was especially kind, knowledgeable and helpful. The rooms were clean, quiet and comfortable, and the mattresses were just right, not too firm or too soft. I did miss having hangers or somewhere to hang clothes. There was only a small coat hook. It might be nice to turn one section of the wardrobe into space for sweaters and dresses. The location was perfect, far enough from the main street that we couldn't hear cars, music or other tourists, but still just a three- to four-minute walk away. It's a lovely place, and I highly recommend it.

The room at Pension Anna was so clean that, despite my severe allergies, I never sneezed once. There was no dust or unpleasant smell, and that attention to cleanliness made a real impression on me. Donna welcomed us with so much warmth and kindness from the moment we arrived. Breakfast was fresh, beautifully prepared, and exceptionally well organized. They even made the boiled eggs the way we asked, and checked ahead about our preferred breakfast time so the dining area wouldn't get crowded. The spotless tables and traditional German decor made it feel like we were eating somewhere in Europe. Our family loved staying here and plans to come back on our next visit. Highly recommend it!

Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh breads, pastries, eggs, cold cuts, coffee, and juice to choose from. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has a cozy feel and a good location. The one problem was the heat at night. It got much too hot, which made sleeping a little uncomfortable. I'd stay again, but hope they can adjust the heating.

The hospitality was great. There isn't anyone physically present overnight, but they made themselves available if we needed anything. It's a quaint, well-appointed local hotel right in downtown Leavenworth, yet still fairly quiet. Our room had lovely, distinctive furniture and decor, and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was clean and functional, though a bit small, with an odd shower setup. We enjoyed the stay and would seriously consider returning if we're in town again.
