The front desk man was kind and got us what we needed, since our room had no shampoo or body wash when we arrived. It was a minor inconvenience. At breakfast, though, the waitress was incredibly rude to us and to other people eating. It was disgusting behavior for someone whose job involves dealing with people every day. She should be fired.

We like the location and atmosphere, so this was our second stay. The room smelled good and was clean, but it showed more wear than last year. The toilet paper holder knob had come off the wall, the mini fridge was loud, and the hairdryer handle was sticky. We booked five nights and asked for room service each day. They never cleaned the room, even after we requested it the evening before and again in person at the desk that morning. We had to ask for fresh towels every day, and eventually dealt with piles of towels and trash ourselves. In the fitness room there were no wipes, sanitizer, or towels, and one treadmill was out of order.

I’ve stayed at lots of Hiltons and never had such a bad experience. The desk person was rude at check-in and acted like we were bothering him. The bartender was rude to everyone and complained about everything. The food was absolutely horrible, and he couldn’t even be bothered to turn on the TV or fireplace. It was 10° outside, so this wasn’t the warm, cozy experience you’d expect. There was mold in the shower, and who knows what was on the carpets, which need shampooing.

The room lighting wasn’t enough for me as an older person, so I was glad I’d brought my flashlight. The lobby has comfortable chairs for reading or talking with friends. There’s a bar, and breakfast is offered by menu or buffet.
