Quality Inn & Suites Leesburg Chain of Lakes

Breakfast was the usual continental spread, bagels, toast, cereal and juice, with a waffle maker too. A bright light outside my window was a nuisance, but the room was fine for getting some sleep, especially for the price. All in all, it was fine.

The front desk service was okay, and the location worked for our weekend plans. The room was only so-so, and the toilet was leaking.

We went for a comedy show and hoped to have a good time, but this stay was a disaster. It's been nearly 2 weeks and nobody has called us back. Not everyone can walk away from a deposit and pay for another room, though I wish we'd been able to. The place looked nothing like the pictures. Everything was outdated, with rust, peeling wood panels, and huge stains on the walls, ceiling, and light shade. Housekeeping seemed nonexistent, so luckily Walmart was right there. The power went out for over an hour, and no one explained why. The hallways and lobby smelled like cigarettes, weed, or garbage. There was a bag with white stuff in it in the hallway. I told housekeeping, but it was still there three hours later. There may have been a homeless man living in the fitness room with all his belongings. I think that might explain why the side door never needed a card during our stay. People were also right at the entrance playing very loud music, blowing bubbles, and smoking.

Breakfast was good, and the staff were good too. The room was rated 2/5 for quality and the stay overall was 2/5, while cleanliness was 1/5. There was unnecessary dirt on the hallway and room rugs, lamp bases, curtains, and bathroom. If I hadn't arrived so late at night, I would have looked for somewhere else. I don't recommend the Leesburg area.
