Relax Inn

The location is pretty convenient, near the interstate, Walmart, restaurants, convenience stores, and gas stations. We booked at short notice because it was the only place with a room and no deposit, but I’m cutting my stay short. The toilet, tub, and sink were dirty, there was only one outlet with a multi-plug, and the Wi-Fi didn’t work. I wouldn’t recommend it based on that. After my review, the managers came to check on things and said the motel is under new management and they’re working on repairs and trying to meet my needs. I asked the front desk to clean the bathroom, and they did. I can’t take back that it wasn’t clean to my standards, though the new managers seemed unaware of the bathroom problem and did respond when I raised it. They seem on top of things and ready to make the place somewhere people can recommend for events, vacations, or business trips. You get what you pay for, unfortunately.

I booked this for myself and my 16-year-old daughter on March 2nd 2026. There were cockroaches everywhere, including crawling on the bed and ceiling and dead in the heating and air conditioning unit. One bed had trash on it, the carpet was filthy and hadn’t been vacuumed, and the mattress made me wonder about bed bugs. When I complained, managers Jessica and Paul first seemed friendly, then turned sour. They told Priceline nothing was wrong, denied me a refund, and offered no solution, though I wasn’t interested in one anyway. Do not stay here or let anyone you know even consider it.

The roach infestation was disgusting, and we spent a lot of our time killing them. There was a horrible smell that I can’t describe, and no hand or bath towels in the room. At check-in, the woman said someone had extended their stay in our room and she’d tried to call but left no message, so we had to take a downgrade. She said she’d move us to the room we originally paid for and bring towels the next morning, but we never saw her again before we left. Worst stay ever. Don’t go here.

For the price, the room was great. The bathtub and refrigerator worked, and there were enough outlets, things that have been problems for me at other places. Trisha, the manager, was great too, and came across as a really honest businesswoman.
