A & E Motel

The room I stayed in hadn't been cleaned, so I cleaned it myself on the day I left and bought my own supplies because it smelled better afterward. The housekeeper claimed she had spent eight hours cleaning it and said I hadn't tipped her, which wasn't true. My daughter needed a friend to help clean her room too. Next door, a man was smoking crack with his newborn, and across from her, a woman who had been to jail was given a room that was supposedly cleaned, but blood was left on the bed. They rented it out again afterward. This motel doesn't deserve a star.

People usually loiter out front, and there's a lot of foot traffic. The place has a residential look, but I think the area could be dangerous. I wouldn't stay here. It needs to be demolished and rebuilt. I only gave it a rating so I could post this, but I'm taking back even half a star. No stars.

Only consider this motel if you have nowhere else to go and need somewhere for a very short time. Otherwise, never stay here.

The prices are great, and the place has cleaned up a lot. The staff is great too. I haven't seen bed bugs or roaches here, unlike at other hotels I've visited lately.
