Candlewood Suites Lexington Medical District by IHG

On 2/12/2025 at 9:45am, I was sitting in the parking lot waiting for my girlfriend to finish packing upstairs so we could check out. I’d been a guest and had only gone to the store, but staff called the police and an ambulance instead of approaching me or checking their records. Having them show up while I was waiting felt like blatant profiling and harassment. The staff member I believe targeted me was the short-haired, blonde staff member. I found the staff unprofessional and discriminatory, and the situation they created felt dangerous and completely unacceptable. I’d give this hotel zero stars if I could. Avoid it, especially if you expect basic dignity and respect.

Stayed with them 2/5-6/26. The rooms were exceptionally clean and had no odors, and the staff were very helpful and accommodating.

I’m a diamond elite member, so I know what I’m talking about. The staff were rude, and I checked out early because of it, but they still charged me for a day I didn’t stay. For a clean, comfortable, drama free stay, I’d suggest Tru by Hilton or Campbell house. In my opinion, try the Tru if that’s what you’re looking for.

The room itself is fine, but this was our third stay in six months and every time we try to go to bed there’s been incredible noise from about 11 pm until 3 or 4 am. The room shakes on every floor we’ve tried. It’s unnerving.
