Hampton Inn Lexington, NC

Nick at the front desk really made the stay for me. He greeted me with a smile, patiently answered my questions, and had useful ideas for food and things to do nearby. Check-in was quick, and the lobby was clean and welcoming. My room was quiet, roomy, and clean, with comfortable bedding and the basics I needed. Housekeeping did a nice job, and the shared spaces were kept up well. I felt well looked after and would happily come back. Nick's service stood out, and I'd recommend the hotel.

We spent a week here for a funeral, and the staff were especially compassionate. Deborah, in particular, was wonderful. The team was pleasant and efficient throughout. The rooms were clean and competitively priced, and the location made it easy to get to shops, restaurants, gas stations, and Starbucks.

Once we got through check-in, the room turned out very nice and thoughtfully laid out. The fridge was tucked into a cabinet, and both it and the heating and cooling unit were quiet. We slept well until someone started vacuuming outside our door. The shower had plenty of hot water, and the place felt worth the price. Check-in itself took 40 minutes; the desk clerk seemed new, but stayed composed and called her supervisor for help. The supervisor guided her by phone, then came in person. Free hot chocolate helped pass the wait.

This was easily the best Hampton we've stayed at in years. We were on the road between Fort Benning Ga and home in Arlington VA, and the Hampton Inn Lexington NC exceeded what we've come to expect. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, the whole facility immaculate, and the place felt organized and friendly. Front desk staff were kind and helpful, while the breakfast area stayed spotless and stocked. We travel a lot and usually choose Hampton first. If you're around Charlotte or Greensboro, we'd highly recommend this one.
