The Georges

The Livery is where we stayed for two nights at the George’s last week. The room was luxurious and beautifully furnished, so I’d highly recommend it. Check-in and breakfast are at the Taps restaurant just around the corner. Lexington is a beautiful town.

Alexis made our Christmas stop at TAPS feel festive from the moment we arrived. The food was delicious, especially the fish and chips, and the craft cocktail with homemade syrups was great too. Thanks, Alexis, for a wonderful afternoon. We’ll be back!

Anna at the reception desk is amazing and really helps make The Georges such a hospitable place. Lexington's great location was a wonderful surprise, and the stay was lovely. We'll definitely return for the accommodations.

I usually hate staying in hotels because I get “the ick” easily and can't settle down. This was a huge change for me. At The Georges, I felt comfortable right away, slept really well, and found the rooms spotless and thoughtfully equipped. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, and the bathroom was the cleanest hotel bathroom I've ever seen. Everyone on staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was included each morning, with hot, made-to-order eggs and bacon instead of the usual gross buffet. Before we came, they called to ask if we needed anything. I asked for a mini fridge because I'm a pumping mother, and it was plugged in and ready when we arrived. They also left complimentary water bottles for us each day. I couldn't be happier with our stay. We visit Lexington every few years, and this is where we'll stay each time. We've tried “The Gin” down the road, and the difference in quality, cleanliness, and service was night and day. I think it's worth the extra money to stay at the Georges.
