Juniper's next door made for a great evening without having to drive. The cocktails were wonderful and the entrees were great. Our king room was clean and had a modern walk-in rainfall shower, and the location was excellent. It was quiet except for a truck emptying the dumpster at 7 in the morning. The decor and furnishings felt a little odd, though. There was just a small chair, no sofa, plus a small desk and desk chair. Outlets were sparse, and the USB ports in the desk lamp wouldn't take a standard USB. For a view, you'd want the fourth floor or above. Prices vary a lot through the year, but $110 for a king room on a Friday in December was exceptional. The presentation could use some work.

The charm is hard to beat, and I travel 25-30 weeks a year for business and personal trips, so I've stayed in plenty of places. The rooms are great and the location is good. Parking is rough, though the hotel does the best it can with where it is, so don't let that put you off. On this trip I forgot my comb and needed to tidy my hair before dinner. The hotel didn't have one and suggested I walk three blocks to a convenience store. That felt like poor customer service. I've had my luggage sent to another city before, and hotel staff have handed me basic supplies right away without hesitation. That makes me feel cared for, and I wish I'd had that feeling here.

The king room was clean and comfortable, and that bed was amazingly comfortable. Booking online was easy and the room rate was great. Check-in and checkout were both quick. Highly recommend!

The location is the best thing about this hotel. The staff were friendly, and the room was clean, but it wasn't anything special. Water from the sink goes everywhere because the bathroom drains poorly, and there's nowhere to put the soap except right on the counter. Nothing terrible, just small things that could be fixed.

The rooms were bright and very clean, and this is a great place to stay in downtown Lexington. We had cocktails at the Juniper Lounge and loved it. Highly recommend.
