Holiday Inn Lexington - Hamburg by IHG

We were surprised to find the room decorated, and we loved the hotel as a whole. The hibachi place in the hotel was great, and dinner there was 10/10. There’s also a pool that we were told is heated. The night worker was so sweet, though I didn’t get her name. Nikki checked us in and out and made sure everything was okay. Definitely recommend, vet safe environment!

There’s plenty of parking, and the location makes it easy to reach the interstate, restaurants, shopping, and gas stations. The lobby was really nice, with a bar and Japanese Restaurant just beyond it. Our room was spacious, clean, nicely decorated, and comfortable, and we slept well in the comfortable bed. We were very pleased and will definitely stay again.

We stopped here for one night on the way home and were pleasantly surprised. The bed was especially comfortable, and the bathroom had a walk-in shower. Our room was quiet, very clean, and nicely decorated. The staff were pleasant as well.

The rooms were large and spotlessly clean, and for a solo business trip I’d probably rate this place highly. With family, though, I may start avoiding Holiday Inn. They’ve always advertised themselves as family friendly, but this hotel has leased the lobby to a third-party restaurant. Breakfast is included for only two travelers, and there’s no buffet. Kids have to order from a menu where meals cost $12-$15. It seemed like a familiar complaint here. When my wife asked what the children’s meals would cost after finding out only two were covered, the desk person gave a well-rehearsed explanation that the room rate details already said only two meals were included. That didn’t answer her question.
