The doors and parking lot are small, and it's an older building, but it's well maintained. Inside, the room was updated and very clean, from the walls and floor to the fridge, microwave, and bathroom. The water was really hot and had great pressure. I booked after seeing the great reviews and hearing a recommendation from a coworker. Good decision. They're friendly, and this is a very nice, cozy hotel. I'll definitely come back.

We paid a great price, $85 for one night and two beds. The outside of the building looks a little old, but our room was warm and very clean, and the shower was fantastic. They provided lots of extra soap and cups. There was a fridge and microwave in the room, and it's a non-smoking room.

We spent two weeknights at the Budget Inn in Liberty, New York. The price was fair, and the room was comfortable, clean, and recently refreshed, with new carpet, fresh paint, furniture in good shape, and a quiet, working fridge a little bigger than the usual tiny hotel kind. The mattresses felt new and comfortable, and the bed linens weren't worn or threadbare. The room also had an iron and hair dryer. The non-smoking policy seems to be taken seriously, since there was no lingering smoke smell. There was enough hot water, though it took about a minute to warm up, which is normal for a hotel. The staff were especially friendly and helpful, A+. They recommended places to eat and get groceries, and warned us away from one local restaurant. Rates were reasonable too. The place is off the main hotel and restaurant strip, so there aren't restaurants within walking distance. That didn't bother us, but could matter to someone else. There's an alcove for hanging coats and clothes, though no closet or chest of drawers. We didn't need those. The room was small but fine for two; another room was a little bigger and had a desk and chair, so keep the size in mind if you need more room. We didn't see an ice or soda machine, though we didn't ask. There were a few minor drawbacks. The office computer looked ancient, maybe still using 3.5-inch drives, and check-in took a while. The owner is remodeling, but parts of the building's age showed, especially the bathroom. The tub needs reglazing, though it was clean and that's just cosmetic. Each guest got one washcloth and one bath towel, but I'm sure the helpful staff would have brought more if we'd asked. There's a Frito-Lay plant nearby; when the wind was right, it smelled like burning popcorn outside. It wasn't the hotel's fault, and the smell didn't get into the rooms. I'd stay here again, absolutely. It's clean, comfortable, reasonably priced, and the staff are great.

It was extremely affordable, and both the bedroom and bathroom were very clean and well maintained. Staff were polite, well groomed, and easy to find. The outside and the bullet glass in the tiny phone-booth-sized lobby made me think I might have left before checking in if I'd been traveling alone. Someone I didn't know also knocked on the door looking for her friend.

The outside looks a little rough, and some money-saving shortcuts are visible, like mismatched bathroom tiles. Still, everything was clean and priced well. Inside, things from the vanity and shower to the bed and refrigerator looked brand new or recently replaced. If you need an inexpensive place to sleep, this works. For a luxury stay, you'd have to spend three times as much at a resort.
