Best Western Limon

We were on the third floor, and the room felt like it may have been updated recently. It was great, with clean rooms and comfortable beds. I'm very sensitive to smells and get nervous about hotels, but our room and the rest of the building had neither smoke nor a strong cleaning smell. That was such a relief. A really nice stay and great value!

Best Westerns can be a gamble since they're independently owned, and some are awful. This one was fresh, nice, and very clean. We also appreciated the one Turnon Green EV charger. On a road trip, it was great to wake up with the car at 100%. The front desk guy with longer red hair and the woman with short platinum blonde hair were both courteous. I'd recommend this hotel, and I hope the owner and employees keeping it up know they're doing a good job.

We'd stayed here about 10 years ago and came back after spotting a last-minute 'heads in beds' rate of $87 all in. It was still a nice property, and we'd stay again. That was $40 less than the HIE next door, which also charged a $25 pet fee. We usually pick HIE or StayBridge. For the price, this was good value, and we had no real problems beyond the bed and how quiet the room was. Your mileage may vary. You get what you pay for. Breakfast had plenty of food, the staff were helpful and friendly, and there was a vent fan in the bathroom. The standard BW bed was a 'Denver Mattress $500 non pillow-top standard.' It was fine for the night, but I didn't sleep my best. The bathroom fan's light meant I couldn't use it as white noise, and the HVAC had no fan-only setting. The property itself was nice. More task lights would help, and TMO cell coverage inside was B-A-D. I didn't try the wifi.

I've avoided Best Western for years because I thought its hotels were old and dated. This stay changed my mind, and they're now on our preferred list. The place looks fairly new and is very well maintained. It's handy to I-70, but far enough from the road that noise wasn't a big issue. We heard the occasional truck, but slept great. The bedding was very comfortable, with plenty of pillows, good linens, and nice bath supplies. The air conditioner made some noise when it started, but it wasn't a big deal. Breakfast was fairly standard, with a few nice extras like a yogurt bar, custom blend coffee machine, and waffle maker. Staff were friendly, and the stay was clean, comfortable, and reasonably quiet.
