Days Inn by Wyndham Lincoln

For a 30-year-old hotel, the rooms weren’t bad. The staff were amazing and welcoming, especially the day shift, and went above and beyond for my family. I’d definitely recommend the hotel, and I’ll stay again.

I started feeling nauseous while lying down because the room smelled like feces. I thought it might be the floor, so I wiped it with my soapy wipes, then suspected the sheets and took them off the bed. The smell kept hanging around. I didn’t realize until checkout that it was the entire bedding. They ended up giving them a free sanitized clean. The bedding and floors need some industrial-strength solution. I didn’t ask to change rooms because the woman said they were full. When I got home, the smell was in our coats, hair and clothes, which was awful. I found out why one morning: there were a bunch of people there who do drugs, and, if you know, some poop on themselves. I felt disgusted. I couldn’t even tell the woman at checkout because she was on her phone.

My family was dealing with a lot of sickness and needed help, and the staff understood what I was going through and supported me. I was able to get a nice big room for family, and the hotel visits gave me a mental break. The place and its staff were very helpful. I’m thankful for their support when I needed it.

The room was disgusting, with stains all over the walls and trash under the beds, and it sleeps like the tip! I booked based on the advertised pool access, but the pool was out of order. Front desk services refused to refund us. This hotel isn’t safe and gave us terrible service.
