The views are lovely, the location is convenient, and the kitchens are nice. The beds, honestly, were terrible and could be better. I don't know why the website calls this a 5 star resort. The rooms need better maintenance, with visible wall patches and things like that everywhere.

The rooms are nice, though they could definitely use an update. For the price in this area, the hotel is a great all-in-one option. The game room is clean, current, and affordable, and the dry sauna is a 10. Twenty minutes in there leaves you feeling like you've had a full-body cleanse. The heated indoor and outdoor pools are both huge and very clean. The jacuzzis are great too, and big enough for up to 12 people.
The outdoor heated pool was a real highlight, and we had fun playing billiards together in the evenings. Our loft was quiet and comfortable, just right for a family holiday. The indoor pool felt a little cold to us, though we still enjoyed it. It's also in a great spot, with nature trails and nearby parks easy to reach.
We always book one- or two-bedroom suites here, and the mini kitchen is handy for making breakfast. The kids are big fans of the fireplace, and there's guest laundry, though you'll need to bring quarters since there's no change machine. On weekends, there's a shuttle to the mountain. We love the place: it's clean, comfortable, convenient, and a great price for the space and amenities.
What wears me down most is trying to leave. After 30 years as an owner with Innseasons Resorts Pollard Brook, we'd like a fair, straightforward way to end the agreement, but customer service keeps sending us through hoops instead of having a respectful conversation. We're not trying to fight. We've supported the place through most of our adult lives, and this process feels deliberately overcomplicated. The fees have climbed from a manageable $300 to over $1000, despite what we were led to believe when we signed up. Given inflation, I think they should be around $600 today, so the increases don't feel fair. There are also far fewer locations available now, and we can't book the trips we want. Our lifestyle has changed over three decades, as you'd expect, and we prefer to travel in our camper. Paying such high fees for a service we can't access feels like an unnecessary burden. It's heartbreaking to see something we chose for its value and experience change so much for the worse.
