Best Western Plus Kendall Hotel & Suites

For a standard king room, this was a pleasant stay. The room was simple and clean, with a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker. Breakfast is hot and served from 6 to 10 am. They also have a machine for cappuccinos and lattes that makes barista-quality drinks. The staff were accommodating.

The staff made this stay for me. They were professional and courteous, and kept accommodating our needs throughout the day and night while we were there for my sister's wedding. The room was clean, roomy enough, and had everything we needed. The location puts you right in the heart of Miami, close to multiple stores, restaurants, a movie theater, and plenty more. Thank you!

We found the stay affordable, with comfortable mattresses and a convenient location. Most of the guest service agents were friendly, too. But when we told them the fridge was broken, they didn't seem to care, which could be a real issue for guests storing medication. There weren't extra bathroom towels either. They were happy to give us pool towels, so it wasn't a big deal, just strange.

I usually try to give places the benefit of the doubt, and I don't like leaving bad reviews, but I wasn't treated fairly here. My reservation was for the wrong day, so I called and the manager approved a date change. When Expedia contacted the hotel, though, they never made the change. They kept my money, didn't move the reservation, and didn't refund me. If that's how they do business, I feel bad for them. I'd tell people to stay away if they expect fair treatment.
