The Alden House

Breakfast was fresh and delicious, and the room was cozy, spotless, and just right for a quiet escape. The Alden House is a beautiful, character-filled home, and you can see the care put into the details. From arrival, we felt relaxed and welcome, almost immediately at home. We had a wonderful stay in Lititz and would happily return. It's a lovely choice for a peaceful bed and breakfast visit.

We really enjoyed the freshly made breakfasts, especially how they accommodated dietary needs, including gluten-free options. The only small complaint was how much the original floor creaked. Alden House is thoughtfully maintained and furnished in period style, with modern heat, AC, and plumbing that all worked without worry. Jeff and Brian were lovely hosts, and Lititz is such a cute Pennsylvania town.

We had a great weekend getaway, and the three of us are already talking about coming back. The owners were so welcoming and even helped us with something after checkout, which meant a lot. The homemade breakfast was delicious, and the inn felt comfortable, clean, and charming. I came with two girlfriends, and the location made it easy to pop into downtown Lititz for shops and restaurants, just a few steps away.

Jeff and Dori were warm, easygoing hosts, and the whole place had a relaxed historic feel. Each day's breakfast was just right, with a different selection and a little home-baked dessert. I consider Alden House one of the best B&Bs around. The rooms and house are carefully decorated, right down to the details, and you can walk to every part of town from there. If you can, book well in advance, particularly for a weekend.
