Extended Stay America Suites - Little Rock - Financial Centre Parkway

On my earlier trip to Little Rock, the service and room here were both decent, so I came back. This time I’d booked a King bedroom, but none were available and I took a Queen double. I was told I’d get a discount and new documentation, but never got the paperwork. There seemed to be a different person at the desk every time I went by. My key barely worked and locked me out three times. The third desk person said it was because my card was old. In the room, a bathroom hook had come out of the wall and was tucked under the sink, and one bed was broken. A kind housekeeper came by with her kids to refresh the towels, but I never got fresh face towels. She said it would take a few minutes, and I’d checked out before they arrived. Luckily I still had one. I hope future guests get a better stay.

The beds and sheets were super comfortable, but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. We waited two hours to be moved from the first room, where the TV didn’t work, cigarette holes marked the blankets, and bathroom wallpaper was peeling. In the next room the exhaust fan was broken, part of the couch was missing, the door was hard to open, and the tub drained very slowly. The breakfast cook was late, so food wasn’t ready until 7:50 a.m. instead of 6. I’m also still waiting for the promised refund of my $50 incidental fee. Making the reservation by phone was okay.

The front desk staff were helpful, but the cleanliness was a problem from arrival, and our room wasn’t cleaned during the stay even though we asked. I won’t be coming back. We paid $100 on site as a deposit without being told ahead of time. I paid cash, yet they still tried charging my card multiple times during the stay. For $80 a night, it wasn’t worth it, especially with nicer hotels in the same area.

The location is excellent, with quick highway access, and both check-in and check-out were fast. Front desk service was good, too. The rooms are in decent shape, aside from a few small things that seem mostly related to the hotel’s age. Housekeeping was more like three-star service: they made the bed and replaced dirty towels, but didn’t seem to wipe things down.
