Wingate by Wyndham Little Rock

I checked in after 3 PM and left at 3 AM, and there was no service for part of that night, so I gave service three stars. The rooms are clean but bare-bones, and the rooms, mattresses, and bedding all felt hot. In February I ran the AC at its lowest setting, but it would run for less than a minute before the thermostat reset to a higher temperature. I opened the window, but the curtains blocked both the air and the outside lights. It was just me, the bill was over $100, and I'm 70, not a party risk. It's okay, but I won't return. Go somewhere else.

The hotel is old and worn. I was glad the sheets and most of the room looked clean, but there was hair hanging from the bathroom door and the room smelled. I can usually accept a hotel for what I paid and have a high tolerance for them, but this needs to be said. I woke up to find my room door open, and I could hear everything from inside. After arriving after dark, I asked the front desk man for a room with a window facing my car because I had belongings in it that I couldn't bring inside and wanted to keep an eye on it. He put me in room 206, overlooking a pool rather than the parking lot, so I couldn't see my car at all. It was above a balcony open to the lobby below, where people check in and get breakfast. It was extremely noisy all night and especially early in the morning. I could hear people talking, including the front desk clerks, and woke several times. Worse, I had locked the door with the deadbolt and latch before bed, but in the morning it was open and the hall light switch inside the room, within arm's reach of the door, was on. Thankfully, I'd put the latch over the door so it couldn't open all the way. I'd put in earplugs later because of the noise, so I didn't wake up when it happened and have no idea who was trying to get in while I slept. I told the woman at the desk, and she said it was odd because housekeeping hadn't checked in and nobody else had my key card. I asked management to review the security footage and contact me with an explanation. They said I'd get a call Monday, November 3rd, but nobody ever reached out. This is completely unacceptable, and I want a refund.

The staff were all welcoming and accommodating, and the location is very close to our family. The building is a little old and has a few minor maintenance issues, but I'd still highly recommend staying here.

The location suited my needs perfectly, close to Baptist medical center and not too far from the airport. I needed to stay nearby. This was the cheapest place I found on super.com, which I took into account when rating it. The room hadn't been maintained well. The bathroom was in poor shape, and getting the door to latch took a lot of effort lifting it.
