Country Motor Inn

The coffee maker was a nice touch, though there weren't any cups for it. The place felt homey, and the king bed was great for me, my husband, and our baby to share for one night. We didn't need much room while traveling. Food and laundry were an easy walk away. I'd recommend it.

9/4/25. I won't be coming back. I asked the office staff about the heater because it wasn't working. There's a thermostat, but all it did was send out room-temperature air. They gave me a string of reasons they don't have heat, plus some blankets, and twice ignored me when I asked for a space heater. That's the opposite of hospitality, especially with the forecast low at 40 degrees tonight. Montana requires heat, so I may file a complaint with the city. I nearly camped instead, which would have saved me about $79 and left me in similar temperatures. I'm almost certain every other motel I've stayed in had heat and A/C together, usually in a window unit. This was unacceptable.

They handled our late arrival without a hitch. We booked an economy room with two double beds, and both were exceptionally comfortable with lots of room. The place has been updated nicely but still keeps some of the nostalgia from when it was built. The linens were clean, the air conditioner worked perfectly, and there was even a small coffee maker. Definitely recommend.

Mine was a pleasant stay, even though the one-star reviews make me wonder if every room is the same. This was the best motel room I've ever had: clean, modern, and everything worked. I liked the non-carpeted floors, and the bed was firm with four fluffy pillows.
