The woman working that night was absolutely fantastic, and she quickly brought extra blankets when I mentioned how cold the room was. They were thin, and it was hard to warm the room up. Still, the place and the room were pretty terrible. The bathroom was gross, and showering was frustrating because the water only got hot at the faucet. Turn on the shower and it went freezing, so I kept switching between bath and shower to avoid either burning or freezing. I also kept finding random hairs on the pillows and blankets. The door's security latch was broken, as if someone had kicked it open, and it hadn't been fixed. The room phone didn't work because its cord had been ripped out of the wall. It looked like a crime had happened there and the room had never been repaired. The pictures should help explain. 👍🏼 I'm writing this more than two weeks later. I stayed out of necessity after about ten hours driving winter roads on New Year's Eve with a seven-year-old and a teen.

I won't stay here again. I only learned about the hidden fees after paying for my stay, including a $50 damage deposit I expected to get back. They kept it, saying I'd damaged a towel. I used it to wipe spilled water off the floor, and it picked up dirt. That makes me think the rooms weren't properly cleaned, and I ended up paying for their lack of cleanliness. They weren't understanding or willing to hear me out, or even try to see it from my side.

I booked a jacuzzi suite but was given a single king room, and check-in was far more complicated than I could have imagined. I've worked in hotels for ten years or more, and this was the most unprofessional service I've seen at check-in. A man suddenly came out from the back yelling at my husband about where he'd parked, then questioned whether he was even a guest and demanded our names and information. He said he'd call the police if my husband didn't move the RV immediately. Quite a welcome. It felt like nobody had taught them manners, good customer service, or accountability that day. He then skulled around the back of the building, walking a path from one side of our corner room to the other. I called the front desk number to report it. Henry assured me they'd pass it to management and look into it, but I saw the same issue continuing on every hotel website I checked yesterday while looking specifically for a jacuzzi suite. Free breakfast was also listed three times among the amenities and one of my preferred requests. At the desk, they told us they hadn't offered it for two years or more. I showed them the websites saying otherwise. They claimed they had nothing to do with those sites, which is odd because I found the listing on Google, Hotels.com, and their own site.

They said switching rooms would cost an extra $10, but instead of adding that to what I'd already paid, they tried to charge me the full room price again. The workers yell at you, and even after they say they've issued a refund, you still have to call the bank to get your money back.

We were refused a refund for the second night even though we hadn't stayed it. Some of my buddies were also kicked out of another room for a noise violation when they weren't making any noise. Only one shower worked for us, and the water was so poor it tasted like throw-up. There were mouse traps in the middle of areas by the vending machines, and other guests said their doors wouldn't close. This is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at. If you're looking for the worst place to stay in Livingston, this is it.
