Paul at the front desk keeps the place running smoothly, and the hotel was immaculate with every convenience we could think of. My daughter and I stayed one night, and I felt safe and even a little pampered. I’m glad we picked this hotel among all the choices nearby. Ask nicely and maybe Paul will share a marshmallow from his secret stash for the complimentary hot chocolate.

The location is convenient, and the hotel was clean, but we had a mixed experience. At check-in they took an unadvertised $75 “service fee” and didn’t release it from the card for 3-5 days. Changing the room charge to a different card from the original reservation raised the cost by about $20, before that amount was removed from the second card around 3-5 days later. Towels were thin and rough, with just one bath towel, hand towel, and facecloth per person. Cutlery was kept at the front desk and handed out from a ziplock bag on request. Breakfast was advertised until 9, but at 8:30 there was only cold cereal and toast, no restock, and no apology.

Prices were hard to beat during SEC weekend, and the location worked well for us, with everywhere we visited less than an hour away by car. The place was clean and quiet, everything was working, and breakfast was decent and kept clean and stocked. Location really is key.

Whenever work brings me here, I enjoy staying at this Comfort Suites location. The staff are consistently friendly, helpful, and professional. It’s one of my favorite locations, and I’m already looking forward to coming back.
