The owner handled a reservation mixup wonderfully and got us into the correct cottage. The location is good, right in the middle of things. The beds were good, a little firm, which I like. The place is older, with lots of updates but some parts still showing their age, especially the bathroom and towels. Outside is pretty, and the pond makes nice sounds. The cover also made noise on the ceiling and wall. The dog behind the cottage barked a lot and didn’t seem very friendly. There was pet hair all over the back of the living room chair.

Gary was great, and the cottage and outdoor space were very nice for a reasonable price. Nice touches included coffee, water bottles, and coffee biscuits each day. Make sure you get the address for your cottage, since they’ve added a few. I’d recommend the place and area to wine enthusiasts.

The owner was so helpful, and we had a fantastic rental. My family is already planning another visit. My wife and I live here, and we’re thinking about a staycation ourselves.

It was a cute little place, just what we wanted, and the price was decent.
