We only booked for one night because we already had a cabin and wanted to get into town before the snow. I’ve managed hotels and stayed in places all over the country, and the service here reminded me of my time with Winegardener & Hammons, where service was taken seriously. We checked in around 5 pm on 1-24-26. The woman at the desk was fantastic, though I didn’t catch her name. She was so friendly, and when I spilled water in the lobby, she wouldn’t let me clean it up. The fresh complimentary cookies were delicious, too. Breakfast was great for a free hotel meal, and the gentleman at checkout was personable and chatted with both me and my other half. I’d left a few things in the room, and he had them ready at the desk when we returned. The two employees we met made a lasting impression. Good hospitality deserves recognition, and their genuine kindness and ability to connect with guests stood out in a world where that’s not something you see often. The room was very reasonably priced, too. We’ll visit again when we’re in town. 10/10.

Having a dog with us made the stay easier because the hotel is dog-friendly. They put us on the first floor, one door away from an exit, so taking him out was simple. Check-in and checkout were smooth and accommodating, and the breakfast bar had a great range of quality options. Staff were attentive, professional, and welcoming from the moment we arrived. Our room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and the spacious shower was a nice touch. This hotel exceeded my expectations. I’d absolutely stay again and recommend it to anyone wanting a reliable, quality stay. Also, Millstone BBQ next door is fire.

We had to change hotels at the last minute, and Spencer got us a room without any hassle. He also suggested local restaurants, and his customer service was phenomenal, better than what I’ve had at either inexpensive or very expensive hotels. The hotel looked new and was clean, and the room was a great deal. Spencer was working at the front desk. Get this man a raise!

The breakfast reviews were what first brought me here, and they were all true. There’s plenty to choose from, whether you want a hearty meal, something light, continental breakfast, or a quick grab and go. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the staff are great and friendly. The hotel has a clean smell without that overpowering cleaner scent. There’s a Holiday Inn Express next door, but it doesn’t seem nearly as full as this place. This is where you want to stay.

We hadn’t planned on staying here. After an impromptu dinner, we walked over to check out the amenities, and the staff treated us like family right from the start. The rooms were really nice and clean. Ms. Kathy checked us out at 4 am and made sure we were ready for the road, with coffee, juice, and other goodies. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
