We always come back here for cruises and flights out of Long Beach. The rooms are spacious, clean, and quiet, unless you're on the 12th floor. The restaurant above is noisy all night with cleaning and prep work. There's plenty of food within walking distance. I especially recommend the Hinata Ramen habatchi next to Subway. We'll definitely stay again.

The hotel felt friendly, clean, and especially quiet, and I had a relaxing night. Breakfast in the morning was fresh and satisfying, and the service at The Vue? restaurant on the top floor was great. I didn't have an airport shuttle available for pickup that night, which would have brought my rating down to four stars. The breakfast voucher made up for it.

We were heading to an early Carnival cruise the next morning. The ride back from the cruise was a bit of a muddle: the shuttle arrived late, we had to call Holiday Inn, and there was some confusion. Eventually we got on the bus and back to our vehicle. On the way there, the shuttle was quick and easy. Our driver was friendly and talkative, and we really enjoyed chatting with him. Overall, we had a nice experience.

I was in town for work and the stay was just okay. People were yelling in the halls at night, and in the morning you had to let the hot water run for about 15 minutes before it got warm. Rosa C., I believe that was the name of the cleaning lady on the 10th floor, was a real sweetheart. She was working when I got back from work and apologized a lot for being there at that time, though it was no problem at all, just a coincidence. She offered to come back later, and I told her we could skip that day. She kept apologizing for no reason. She was super nice and did a great job.

I'll come back for the fair price and the great staff. The first time, the shuttle wasn't available, but the sweet girl with glasses got me a voucher for an Uber to the airport. On my second visit, the front desk worker helped me sort out the shuttle. The stay itself was great, no complaints.
