I stayed here on October 5 with two young girls. We loved the pool, and the breakfast and staff were great. The room was clean, though our feet got dirty from the carpet after we’d showered and were barefoot. The bathroom outlet didn’t work either. Both seem like easy fixes, and I’d stay again. It’s the best pool I’ve ever seen.

We booked through price line and got a king bed, non-smoking room. We smoke but hate the smell, so having a balcony was a nice surprise. The hotel is quiet, quaint, and clean, with a large tidy room and courteous, engaging staff. All the coastal attractions are close by, and we’ll definitely return. There was a faint musty odor, so bring your favorite air freshener. I’d recommend this hotel.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and customer service was good. The rooms were spacious, but the beds weren’t what I hoped for and the pillows were small. The bathroom was the bigger problem: the tub looked nasty, and there was hair under a dingy bath mat and all over the floor. The toilet flushed poorly and kept running afterward. Breakfast was questionable too, with sour milk and rotten bananas. Without those issues, I’d have enjoyed the stay more.

Breakfast had a decent selection, though there weren’t hot foods apart from waffles, if those count. The staff weren’t very chatty. At check-in, the guy just told me my room number, and when I had to initial and sign a sheet, he put it on the counter with a pen. That didn’t bother me, but it might bother someone else. For a less expensive hotel, it does the job. The room was dated but didn’t seem to need a remodel. We had a smoking room, unfortunately, though it was tolerable. The king bed had only three small, flat pillows, so bring your own if you like sleeping propped up. The showerhead was low, maybe around five feet, which could be inconvenient for taller people.

For the price, we got a great stay. The showers worked well, breakfast was pretty good, and the rooms were clean with relatively soft beds. The staff and general manager were incredibly friendly. Keep in mind this is a Super 8 Motel, not five-star service. I’d call it a 3-star hotel, and for that kind of place, it deserves five stars and then some. I can’t complain.
