They ask for a $50 deposit up front in case you break something. One of the girls got eyeshadow on the sheet, and they kept my deposit over it, even though it would wash out. That was the only reason they could find to hold on to the money. Not happy.

I've stayed at a lot of Super Eight's, and the Longview location stands out. The sheets were clean, the bed was comfortable, and the room had no smoke smell, which is truly disgusting. No unwanted guests either, not a roach or spider, and I hate being woken up by one crawling on me. Stay away from Super Eight in Tyler, Tx!

I was traveling through and just needed to pull over and sleep. Booking online got me a great rate. Check-in was easy, and the gentleman at the front desk was professional. The room was clean and nice, with a good bathroom and comfortable bed. It felt safe and was quiet. Courtney Edwards

Our crew was happy with the stay, and we'll keep this hotel in mind when we're working in Longview or nearby. The couple who run it are professional and polite, and the staff are very helpful. The beds are comfortable and the showers hot.

The afternoon staff were friendlier and more helpful. Morning staff came across as rude and not very friendly. The rooms themselves are clean and nice. For the price, it's OK.
