Motel 6-Lordsburg, NM

The front desk guys were awesome, and it’s a nice place to stop for a night off the road. The downside is that big trucks and trailers often take up a lot of the parking spaces.

I felt safe staying here, and the rooms were very clean. The staff were really nice, and I didn’t see homeless people around. I’d definitely stay again.

This cute motel smelled good and was clean. Not every Motel 6 is alike, and I’d stay at this one again.

It was late and along my route, and my dog could stay free, so I stopped here. I’ve stayed at Motel 6 many times a year while road tripping with my huskies, and this was the worst kept one I’ve seen. I arrived around 11 pm and left by 4:30 am after a long day driving, hoping to shower and sleep. Instead, there was a big pile of dirt on the floor, a grasshopper in the toilet, and dead bugs on the towels, so I had to shake them out. The bugs were dead, at least, but it was still awful. There were also some very sketchy people wandering the parking lot and knocking on doors when I arrived, which didn’t make me feel safe. I paid almost $90 for the night, and it wasn’t worth it.
